As with all of the Zimmer Children’s Museum programs, Summer Camp at the Zimmer offers a unique blend of best practices in early childhood education and high-caliber arts education experiences with a focus on social responsibility. 

This summer, the Zimmer Children’s Museum’s 5 distinct week-long day camps will explore the community we live in, the plants, animals and places of the earth, and more!  Though the focus of each week will vary, each day will incorporate arts & crafts, music & movement, and lots of playtime that help to develop the whole child!

WHO: Ages 3 - 6 years (Sessions vary by week.  Child must be appropriate age by camp start date.)

COST with Early Bird Registration - 10% Discount (Before April 12):
Members:  $220.50 per session    Non-Members: $247.50 per session

COST after April 12:
Members:  $245 per session          Non-Members: $275 per session

There are people to meet and places to go!  Campers will learn about the important people in their community, construct buildings, and discover all the ways that people ‘go together’!

planet eARTh

Ages 3-6
The beauty of nature is all around us!   Campers will explore natural and found art materials, create upcycled sculptures, design urban planters, and more!

Imagine & Invent!

Ages 4-6
It’s time to imagine and invent!  Campers will experiment with elements of construction, robotics, art and design to engineer quirky gadgets that light up, polarize, and more!

The Buggie Boogie

Ages 3-5
We’re buggin’ out!  Campers will investigate the fascinating world of our itty bitty creepy crawly friends.  Observe and learn about ants, caterpillars, bees and more!

What’s That Habitat?

9:00am – 2:00pm
Ages 3-6
We’re traveling across the world to discover the sights and sounds of nature’s most vibrant habitats.  We’ll hunt for bears in the mountains, uncover creatures in the rainforest, touch prickly desert cacti, and more!
