2013 Mother’s Day Brunch Motto:
“Women of Impact”

The Zimmer's Women’s Leadership Council is an eclectic mix of women from varying professional and cultural backgrounds. We are mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and wives. In addition to being the backbone of our families, we are professionals, philanthropists, visionaries and change-makers. We share a passion for instilling young people of all ages with the confidence and the desire to shape their own lives and the world around them for the better. We think outside of the box when it comes to solving social issues, filling a need in the community, and guiding our next generation to a brighter and more sustainable future. Most importantly, we are living example of this work through our support of innovative programs that improve the lives of children and families in Los Angeles and beyond. 

The WLC meets quarterly to consider and support innovative programming offered for children and families through the Zimmer Children’s Museum in Los Angeles. Our fundraising efforts go to support ongoing programs and launch new ones both within the walls of the museum and out in the community. Our events bring together some of the most philanthropic women in the region under a shared mission to help grow the next generation of global citizens with a strong sense of community values and social responsibility.
