Every Friday afternoon, the whole museum transforms into a dance party! We like to move it, move it. And we’re pretty sure you do, too. Join us as we boogie down!

Mommies are the best, and we want them to know it!  To celebrate Moms, we offer a fabulous gift option -- a FREE day for the family at the Zimmer! Kids, bring mom in to create special gifts and spend a wonderful day together!

May 19 - Balance, Push… and Pedal!
Grab your helmets and head on over to the Zimmer!  May is Bike Month and our friends from the LA County Bicycle Coalition are here to demonstrate with skuut bikes the latest in helping our little ones to balance, push… and pedal!  Parents will also learn great tips and tricks to ensure bicycle safety! 

May 26 – Memorial Day Crafts
At the Zimmer, we honor our heroes!  Join us in our art studio for arts & crafts in honor and memory of all those who have served for our freedom!

June 2 – Learn More with LESS
Join Glen Chung, founder of Learning Equipment Supply Service (LESS), as he shares easy and affordable ways to make learning fun!  Bring your little Einstein’s over for a hands-on experience!  Perfect for curious little ones (and grown-ups!) who love learning!

June 9 – Free to Be Me Drum Circle 
Bummm ba dum dum ba dum dum. Grab a drum and feel the beat move you!  Join Sabina Sandoval of Free to Be Me Drum Circle and experience the thrill, the fun, and the healing of the drum!

June 16 –  Father’s Day: Dress up Daddy!
Daddies are the best, and we want them to know it!  To celebrate Dads, we’re offering every Dad a funky new makeover!  Kids, decorate all kinds of crazy accessories from bow ties to baseball caps just for Daddy! 

June 23 –  Zimmer Children’s Theater
Join us for the premiere of the Zimmer Children’s Theater group!  Part scripted, parts improve, but most importantly, completely family friendly and sure to make you laugh, cry, and cheer for more!

June 30 – Happy Birthday SUPERMAN!!! (2:00pm – 4:00pm)
YOU ARE INVITED to SUPERMAN’s super awesome fantastic birthday celebration!  Decorate your own hero mask, star in your own comic strip, and meet the man of steel himself – Superman will be making an appearance before he takes off to save the world! 
Come dressed as your favorite superhero and receive $1 off admission!

July 7 – Summer Sand Art (2:00pm – 4:00pm)
Join us as we open our Art Studio for some colorful sand art!

July 14 – Critter Squad 
Have no fear, the Critter Squad is back!  Interact with some of nature’s most unique animals… some with fur, some with scales, some super tiny, and some larger than you’d ever imagine!

July 21 – Big Ideas B-I-N-G-O.
Join us for a game of Big Ideas B-I-N-G-O, as we learn about global citizenship, community responsibility, and cultural sensitivity.  Cover 5 across, up, down or diagonally to win prizes!
