The museum will be closed May 14 – May 17 for museum maintenance.
The museum is located at 6505 Wilshire Blvd in the Miracle Mile district. We inhabit two levels of the Jewish Federation Goldsmith Center on the north side of Wilshire Blvd just east of the San Vicente intersection. There is no exterior sign for the museum. Visitor parking in our adjacent lot just west of the building entrance is free when available. Otherwise, meters and street parking are available on Wilshire and nearby side streets.
If you are travelling by car:
From the Santa Monica Freeway (10) take exit 7A for La Cienega Boulevard North. Drive north 2 miles to Wilshire Boulevard; take a right on Wilshire and proceed 1 mile east. Destination will be on the left.
From the 101S, take Highland Avenue 3.5 miles south to Wilshire Boulevard; take a right on Wilshire and proceed 2 miles west. Destination will be on the right.
If you are traveling by bus:
Metro Local Line 20 stops just west of the museum on Wilshire Blvd.

Tuesday-Thursday: 10am-5pm
Friday: 10am-4pm
Sunday: 12:30pm-5pm
VIB Hour (under 2 only): Wednesday, 9am-10am
Members Only Hour: Friday, 9am-10am
Monday & Saturday: CLOSED
Please note: No one will be admitted to the museum within 20 minutes of closing.
Admission Prices
Adults: $8.00
Children 1-17: $5.00
Children under 1: FREE
Grandparents: FREE on Thursdays when accompanied by a grandchild
All children must have an adult (18 years or older) with them at all times. No adults are allowed into the museum without a child.
No refunds will be issued for admission, membership, or programs.
10-visit Pass: $50.00 Good for 10 visits for any guests 1 and over for one year. Yes, it is transferrable! However, visits can not be redeemed without presenting pass.
Groups: $5 each For groups of 10 or more paying individuals, everyone is only $5! Entire fee for group must be made in one payment to qualify.
EBT cardholders are admitted free to the museum when card is presented.
For all promotional offers (including Association of Children's Museum Reciprocal Program), proof of the promotion must be present to redeem.

Stroller Policy
Because of space limitations we encourage you to leave your strollers in the car. In accordance with the Fire Marshal, strollers MUST be parked in the lobby on the ground floor of the museum. The Zimmer Children’s Museum is not responsible for any personal belongings.
The Zimmer is intended to be enjoyed by adults and children together. To enter the museum, all children must bring an adult, and all adults must bring a child.
